INCOSTE (International Conference on Sustainable Tourism and Entrepreneurship) is the international conference organized by Sahid University, bringing together academics, practitioners, and policymakers to reflect on how tourism and entrepreneurship can evolve in more sustainable and responsible directions. The conference covers key topics such as sustainable tourism governance, community and indigenous knowledge–based tourism, digital innovation and tourism technology, circular economy and green value chains, green entrepreneurship and sustainable tourism finance, as well as experiential tourism including gastronomy, wellness, and lifestyle. These themes respond to current shifts in the tourism sector, where environmental limits, social equity, and innovation increasingly shape decision-making.

INCOSTE provides a forum for sharing research, practical experiences, and policy insights that bridge academic perspectives with real-world challenges. Rather than focusing solely on theory, the conference encourages grounded discussions on what works, what does not, and why, across different tourism contexts. As an inaugural event, INCOSTE is intended to initiate long-term collaboration and knowledge exchange, supporting the development of more resilient, inclusive, and sustainable tourism and entrepreneurial practices.
