Abstract

The development of urban tourism in the provincial capital of the Special Region of Yogyakarta (DIY) requires tourism villages to adapt to global trends, one of which is wellness tourism. This study aims to analyze the effect of wellness package innovation and Cleanliness, Health, Safety, and Environmental Sustainability (CHSE) standards on tourism business resilience. Using a quantitative approach, data was collected from 120 managers of tourism villages in DIY through questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression with SPSS software. The results of the regression coefficient analysis show that wellness package innovation and the implementation of CHSE partially and simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on tourism business resilience. The standard error value for the constant in this analysis is recorded as low, indicating the high precision of the estimation model used. The conclusion of this study confirms that to survive in the post-pandemic era and the shift in tourist preferences towards special interest tourism, tourism villages must design wellness packages integrated with standardized cleanliness guarantees. The implications of this study provide strategic guidance for policymakers and destination managers in developing recovery programs and strengthening sustainable local tourism business resilience.
