Abstract

This study intends to determine how teacher competence and work motivation have an impact on teacher performance at SMAN Cluster 5 Tangerang.  Quantitative methods are used in this study. The analysis tool is SPSS.  Primary and secondary data are two different categories of data used. This study involved all teachers in SMAN Group 5 Tangerang Regency, totaling 130 people; Saturated samples are used.  This study found that partial teacher competence had a positive effect on work motivation, and teacher competence had a positive effect on work motivation. The study also found that teacher performance was influenced by both teacher competence and work motivation. Keywords: Competence, Work Motivation, Teacher Performance
