Abstract

Pelaku usaha kopi luwak yang berada di Kabupaten Lampung Barat sudah memiliki kompetensi yang seharusnya dimiliki. Namun besaran kompetensi tidak sama rata, terdapat kompetensi yang dominan dan terdapat pula kompetensi yang tidak dominan. Besaran kompetensi yang berbeda-beda, menimbulkan adanya perbedaan kompetensi menimbulkan perbedaan pada keadaan usaha. Pelaku usaha yang memiliki kompetensi yang sedikit menunjukkan keadaan usaha yang tidak berkembang, sedangkan pelaku yang memiliki kompetensi yang banyak menunjukkan keadaan usaha yang lebih stabil. Kondisi usaha kopi luwak yang terjadi saat ini tidak memungkinkan munculnya wirausaha baru. Hal ini disebabkan dengan turunnya angka konsumsi kopi luwak, munculnya trend kopi lain seperti kopi lanang, kopi gajah dan lainnya serta gerakan kopi petik merah yang digalakkan oleh pemerintah Kabupaten Lampung Barat.
