ANALISIS ISI BERITA PEMERKOSAAN DI MEDIA KOMPAS.COM DAN DETIK.COM PADA JULI 2024

Abstrak

This study aims to analyze the content of news about the rape of a child by her biological father in Pati, Central Java in the media Kompas.com and Detik.com in July 2024. The reason for this study is the shift and transition of analog technology to digital media which improves the quality and accessibility of information. This study was conducted using the Pan and Konsicki framing analysis method with a qualitative approach through its four elements, namely syntactic structure, script, thematic and rhetorical. In this study, the researcher used framing theory and agenda setting theory. The results of this study are the frames framed by Kompas.com in Pan and Kosicki's analysis that Kompas.com emphasizes neutral, chronological and independent news information from the news of the rape case of a child by her biological father in Pati, Central Java. While the frame framed by Detik.com emphasizes emotional, sensational and dramatic information from the news of the rape case of a pious child by her biological father in Pati, Central Java. Kompas.com provides a deeper understanding of the issue of sexual violence in a broader context, while Detik.com uses a more emotional approach, which can quickly grab the reader's attention, but has the potential to lead to a less thorough understanding of the complexity of the case.
