This study investigates the influence of financial literacy and financial behavior on investment decisions among Generation Z in Central Jakarta. As members of this generation begin to participate more actively in financial markets, understanding the factors that shape their investment decisions becomes increasingly important. The research adopts a quantitative approach using a survey method with 118 respondents. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression. Results reveal that both financial literacy and financial behavior significantly impact investment decisions. Financial literacy shows a positive effect with a regression coefficient of 0.508, while financial behavior also exerts a positive influence, with a regression coefficient of 0.395. The F-test value of 130.014 with a significance level below 0.001 confirms that these variables together influence investment decisions significantly. Furthermore, the coefficient of determination (R²) is 0.693, indicating that 69.3% of the variation in investment decisions can be explained by the two independent variables. This study concludes that improving financial knowledge and promoting sound financial behavior are crucial in shaping the investment actions of Generation Z. The findings contribute valuable insights for designing targeted financial education policies and programs to foster smarter investment practices among youth.Diterbitkan
