Abstract

This study explores how leadership is enacted in the digital era, with particular emphasis on embedding transformation processes within an adaptive organizational culture. In contemporary management practices, digital technologies have become integral to the administration of business operations and human resources, notably through the deployment of digital systems that improve efficiency, facilitate communication, and enhance the quality of decision-making. The study utilizes a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach, following the PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses) framework, to construct a comprehensive understanding of leadership practices within digitally driven environments. The results indicate that leadership holds a crucial role in determining organizational direction, building trust, and enhancing overall performance outcomes. Moreover, effective leadership in the digital context necessitates value alignment, the capacity to inspire, the empowerment of organizational members, and the adoption of flexible and streamlined strategies. The study further underscores that future leaders are expected to demonstrate creativity, strong communication competencies, resilience in dealing with failure, and the ability to sustain innovation. Consequently, leadership that is both adaptive and digitally oriented emerges as a critical determinant in navigating the growing complexity of organizational change.
